has hired Madelyn Burke away from MSG Network in New York, bringing the 38-year-old broadcaster to Bristol, Connecticut, where she is expected to begin work in April as a SportsCenter host.
Burke spent the last decade covering the New York Giants and the NFL, building a profile that also included hosting for CBS Sports HQ. On X, she said she had loved being part of Big Blue and watching the organization evolve over the last decade, adding that she had built incredible friendships, made lasting memories and hoped to have left a positive impact on the fan base.
She also said she was thrilled and honored to join and be part of SportsCenter, calling it a show that has meant so much to her and to generations of sports fans. Burke said she was excited to help carry that tradition forward while bringing energy, joy and a genuine love of sports to every show.

Burke’s path to the anchor desk has been a long one. She graduated from Arizona State, hosted the nationally televised college football show Running with the Pac on FOX while she was in school, and worked as a PA at during Super Bowl XLII. She later worked for WFAN, CBS, the Los Angeles Clippers and Sports Illustrated before moving to MSG Network.
SportsCenter has long been a showcase for some of the best-known names in sports media, including Chris Berman, Stuart Scott, Scott Van Pelt and Linda Cohn. Burke told the New York Post that nearly 20 years later, joining the program made her feel gratitude for the people, experiences and opportunities that helped her get there.

Her move gives another familiar voice with deep New York roots, and it also closes a run that Burke marked with clear emotion. She is leaving behind a decade with the Giants and stepping into one of the network’s most recognizable jobs, a transition she says she has been waiting nearly 20 years to make.
