São Paulo will go into Saturday's 16:30 match against Vitória at the Barradão without Sabino, Bobadilla, Luciano and Calleri, four absences that reshape the side for the 11th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.
Sabino is recovering from discomfort in his right calf, Bobadilla is out after a wound in his right leg from a challenge by an opponent from Boston River on Tuesday, and Calleri missed the last training sessions because of concussion protocol after a head collision against Cruzeiro. Luciano had trained normally on Thursday as he recovered from muscle discomfort, but he was still left out of the squad.
São Paulo finished its preparation on Friday and the delegation traveled to Salvador in the afternoon. Before working on the field, the players watched a video shown by the coaching staff, then went through warm-up exercises, tactical drills and an 11-on-11 scrimmage. Pablo Maia became unavailable on Thursday after suffering fractures in the bones of his face and nose, and Lucas Moura is also recovering from rib fractures, adding to a squad already trimmed down before the trip.

The latest changes leave Roger Machado with fewer options as São Paulo tries to get closer to the top of the standings. He is expected to line up the team with Rafael; Lucas Ramon, Rafael Tolói, Alan Franco and Wendell or Enzo Díaz; Danielzinho; Marcos Antônio and Cauly; Artur, André Silva and Ferreira. Vitória, meanwhile, released its squad list with returns for Renato Kayzer and Nathan Mendes, setting up a home match in Salvador that arrives with one side short-handed and the other getting key names back.
