Rocket League will put a new Paris Major bundle on sale May 19, using cosmetic purchases to help fund the esports field heading into the event that starts May 20. The bundle, priced at 1,000 in-game credits, or about $9.99 USD, will be available in-game from May 19 to May 30.
Epic Games and Psyonix said 100% of the bundle’s net sales, after taxes, will be split between players and teams at the Paris Major. The first 50% will go to individual players through Player Performance Awards, while the other 50% will be divided among the 16 teams at the event, with higher-placing teams taking a larger share.
The structure gives buyers a direct way to increase the prize pool for the RLCS event, because the more bundles sold, the larger the payout becomes. Epic Games and Psyonix said the Player Performance Awards will be spread equally across three categories, though they did not spell out those categories in the announcement.
The release is tied closely to the Paris Major, which begins May 20, and to the broader RLCS schedule. Epic Games and Psyonix also said they plan to release a similar bundle later this year to support the RLCS World Championship 2026.
For the teams and players in Paris, the bundle turns a cosmetic sale into tournament money in real time. For Rocket League, it is also a test of whether fans will keep paying into the esports ecosystem when the purchase window is short and the connection to competition is immediate.
