Arc Raiders has added a new Acquire Resources button on the crafting screen, giving players a direct way to track down missing materials without leaving the flow of the game. The change appears when a player lacks something needed for a craft and turns the old scavenger hunt into a clear list of where to get it.
The button points players to every available source for the missing items, including recycling and buying from Celeste. Developers said the goal is to let players fill the gap and finish a craft without getting bogged down in menus, because the friction in crafting was getting in the way of the fun.
Before the update, players had to move through several screens to gather what they were short on, a process that slowed crafting and pulled attention away from the rest of the game. After listening to feedback, the team put the Acquire Resources button directly on the crafting screen, but said the change is only one step and that streamlining crafting goes deeper than a single button.
That leaves the bigger question in the background of these Arc Raiders patch notes: how far the developers will go in reworking crafting after acknowledging they are always looking at what comes next. For now, the update does something practical and immediate. It removes a small but constant point of friction and makes it easier for players to get back to playing.
