Wednesday night’s $143 million jackpot was won by tickets sold in Indiana and Kansas, but the April 29 drawing also sent a wave of smaller prizes through New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Sixty-two players matched the five white numbers to win $1 million, and 27 more added Power Play to turn those five-number tickets into $2 million winners.

In New Jersey, 14 players hit the five white numbers for $1 million prizes, while another four won $2 million with Power Play. Pennsylvania had five $1 million winners and two $2 million winners. The winning numbers were 03, 19, 35, 51, 67 and Powerball 15.

The drawing came just weeks after another big Powerball hit in the region. The $230.8 million jackpot on April 6 was claimed on a ticket sold at an in New Castle County, Delaware, the state’s first jackpot winner since December 2016. For Delaware, that earlier win ended a long dry spell; for players in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, April 29 was the kind of night that can still turn a regular ticket into a life-changing check.

The split jackpot in Indiana and Kansas closes the loop on a drawing that spread far beyond the two winning tickets. The bigger story for the Mid-Atlantic is not the top prize, but the sheer volume of secondary winners that showed how quickly a Powerball jackpot night can reach into neighboring states.
