Paris St Germain beat Angers 3-0 at Stade Raymond Kopa on April 25, 2026, and moved six points clear at the top of Ligue 1 with four games remaining. Lee Kang-in opened the scoring, Senny Mayulu added the second and Beraldo headed in the third to keep PSG in control despite Gonçalo Ramos being sent off late on.
That result came just as PSG needed it. Lens had drawn 3-3 at Brest on Friday evening, giving the champions a chance to stretch the gap before Tuesday night’s Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes. PSG had won eight of their previous nine matches in all competitions, and this was their 18th successive league victory over Angers.
The first half never really let Angers settle. Lee put PSG ahead and, from Mayulu’s ball, Achraf Hakimi chanced his arm before Fabián Ruiz was no more successful, a reminder that PSG kept finding openings even when the final touch was missing. Ruiz, who scored the only goal in the reverse fixture in August, was not needed to settle this one.
Beraldo made the game safer seven minutes after half-time, heading home Lee’s cross from close range. Angers were then given a brief opening when Ramos was sent off for a second bookable offence with 16 minutes remaining, after he had earlier been cautioned for an early foul on Abdoulaye Bamba. Matvey Safonov had to save from Goduine Koyalipou as the hosts sensed a chance, but PSG shut the door and left with another clean, clinical result.
With Bayern waiting and Ligue 1 now largely under control, PSG can turn to Europe knowing the domestic title race has been pushed further in their favour. The bigger question is whether the loss of Ramos changes the tone of Tuesday’s first leg, even if the league picture is already tilting PSG’s way.
