The Detroit Tigers will try to even their four-game road series Tuesday night when they face the Minnesota Twins again at Target Field in Minneapolis, a matchup set for 7:40 p.m. ET. Minnesota is scheduled to start Taj Bradley, while Detroit will counter with Tarik Skubal.
The opener on Monday night went the Twins' way, 7-3, and Casey Mize struggled in the frigid temperatures as the Tigers dropped the first game of the series. That puts extra weight on a quick response for Detroit, which is looking to avoid falling deeper behind in the set.
Bradley enters with a 1-0 record and a 0.87 ERA, while Skubal is 1-1 with a 0.69 ERA, two early lines that point to one of the cleaner pitching matchups on the slate, even in a limited sample size. Both starters have started well, but the conditions may matter as much as the numbers.

The weather is expected to be cold again, with a high of only 45 degrees Fahrenheit. For the Tigers, that means another night in an environment that already bothered them once, and another chance for Skubal to steady a series that has already tilted Minnesota's way.
