WWE Raw after WrestleMania 42 brought a new face to the roster on Monday night in Las Vegas, with Ethan Page introduced as the newest member of WWE Raw. He was also set for his first match on Raw against Je'Von Evans later that night.
The show began at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix and moved to the T-Mobile Arena after two nights at Allegiant Stadium for WrestleMania 42. ScrapDaddy put the announcement plainly, posting: “Introducing the newest member of the #WWERaw roster... Ethan Page!” and adding that “@OfficialEGO already has his first match TONIGHT against @WWEJeVonEvans!! 😱”
Page arrives on Raw as a former AEW-to-NXT star, adding another name to a roster that was still settling in after the weekend in Las Vegas. The night also came with fresh fallout from WrestleMania 42, where Roman Reigns had dethroned CM Punk to begin his first run with the World Heavyweight Championship, while Oba Femi beat Brock Lesnar in less than five minutes and Paul Heyman was expected to address Lesnar’s future.
That made Page’s debut more than a roster note. Raw was not just opening a new week; it was trying to hold the attention that came out of WrestleMania and push it straight into another live show, with Page’s first match against Evans one of the first new pieces in that next chapter.
