Monster Energy AMA Supercross is back in Ohio for the first time since 1995, and Cleveland gets the sport’s final Triple Crown of the 2026 season today at Huntington Bank Field.
It is a pivotal stop in the schedule with four races remaining, and the championship picture is tight in both classes. In the 250SX East Division, Cole Davies arrives with a 19-point lead over Seth Hammaker in the eighth round of 10, while the 450SX Class has Hunter Lawrence holding a 10-point edge over Ken Roczen and a 15-point lead over Eli Tomac.
The stakes are clear because there is little margin left for either championship battle to shift course. Davies has not been beaten in a 250SX East main event since Daytona SX, where Hammaker won, and that makes Cleveland more than another round on the calendar.
The setting adds another variable. Weather is expected to reach the low 70s with some afternoon rain, which could affect the track at Huntington Bank Field and change how the night unfolds for riders trying to protect a lead or close one down.
Tomac has already had a moment in the city, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at the Cleveland Guardians’ game last night. Today, though, the focus turns fully to supercross today in a round that could influence both title fights before the season leaves Ohio behind again.
