Tristan da Silva scored four points on 2-for-2 shooting and grabbed two rebounds in 14 minutes Wednesday, but the Magic fell 109-97 to the 76ers in the Play-In Game.
The outing capped a rough stretch for da Silva, who had briefly put himself firmly on the standard league radar before fading again over the last two weeks. In seven appearances during that span, he averaged 8.4 points and 3.6 rebounds in 22.5 minutes per game, but his fantasy production has been well outside the top-300 players over his last seven appearances.
That makes Wednesday look less like a one-night setback than another reminder of how hard it has been for him to turn a short burst of relevance into anything lasting. Da Silva showed enough earlier to get attention, but the recent numbers have not held up.
