The Indiana Fever added another piece to their revamped roster on Monday, announcing the signing of Myisha Hines-Allen, a 6-foot-1 forward who spent last season with the Dallas Wings. The team did not disclose the terms of her new contract.
Hines-Allen arrives after playing 40 games for Dallas last season, when she averaged 7.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 22.1 minutes per game. She also brings championship experience, having won a WNBA title with the Washington Mystics in 2019.
The move came as Indiana stayed active across free agency. Natasha Howard left the Fever for the Minnesota Lynx, while Kelsey Mitchell signed a one-year, $1.4 million deal to remain with the team. Indiana also secured new deals for Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham, extended Damiris Dantas, and brought in Tyasha Harris and Monique Billings.
The signing gives the Fever another frontcourt option after Howard’s departure, and it shows the team is not waiting to see how the market settles before filling holes. Caitlin Clark reposted the Fever’s announcement on her Instagram stories Monday, a small sign of how closely the team’s next version is being watched.
For Indiana, the work is not finished, but the direction is clear: the Fever are trying to turn a busy stretch of roster moves into a deeper team before the season gets here.
