Manchester United also named Lammens in goal and listed nine substitutes, with Shea Lacey back among them for the first time since the 3-2 win over Fulham. Leeds were also named with nine substitutes and selected Darlow in goal, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin started up front. The lineups left Carrick with an unchanged objective: turn a long break into another home win and keep the pressure on the visitors, who needed points fast.
