Columbus Crew will host Orlando City SC on Sunday, April 12, at 7:00 PM at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field, with the match set up as Harry Potter Night. Stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the Northwest Gate will be available for fan entry.
The club is turning the evening into more than a league match. A Harry Potter Scavenger Hunt will run throughout the stadium after gates open, fans can stop by Koorsen Guest services to claim a certificate, and Harry Potter photo stations will be set up at the CoverMyMeds Gate, behind Section 131 and behind Section 104. The first Quadball Match at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field will also be played at halftime, with The Cleveland Riff facing the local Ohio Apollos.
The match-day guide from Columbus Crew also points fans to the Columbus Crew Foundation 50/50 Raffle and lists Harry Potter themed cocktails with a light-up souvenir cup for $22.99. Alcohol purchases require valid I.D., and the club says no more than 2 alcoholic beverages will be sold to each guest per purchase, per valid I.D.
Beyond the themed extras, the club is urging fans to use approved entry traffic routes, arrive early and build in extra travel time in downtown Columbus. That advice matters most on a night when the attraction is not only Orlando City vs Columbus, but also the crowd, the gates and the show built around it.
The setup leaves the usual Sunday-night questions on the field, but the experience around it is already decided: a packed match guide, a themed stadium and a full evening built to keep fans moving through the gates and into their seats before kickoff.
