Inter will go to Como on April 12 without Lautaro Martinez, with Francesco Pio Esposito set to partner Marcus Thuram in attack as the Serie A leaders look to stretch their advantage at the top. The match kicks off at the Stadio Sinigaglia at 19.45 UK time, 20.45 CEST.
The absence of Martinez is the latest setback for Inter after the forward had only just returned from six weeks out before suffering another injury issue. Yann Bisseck is still struggling with a muscular problem, leaving Inter with another selection concern as they prepare for a ground where Como held them to 0-0 in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on March 3.
That draw left the tie finely balanced ahead of the second leg at San Siro on April 21, but the league stakes on Sunday are immediate. Inter can move nine points clear of Napoli with a win, while Como need victory to protect fourth place after Juventus won the previous night.

Como’s own form has made the fixture more awkward than a routine top-versus-mid-table meeting. Cesc Fabregas had them on a five-match Serie A winning streak before the 0-0 draw with Udinese, and he selected Tasos Douvikas up front with three players behind him in the most recent setup. Jacobo Ramon and Jesus Rodriguez have shaken off injuries, leaving Jayden Addai as Como’s only long-term absentee.
Inter and Como have already played twice this season, including a Serie A meeting at Giuseppe Meazza Stadium on December 6, 2025. The return at the Sinigaglia now carries more weight for both clubs: Inter are trying to keep control of the title race, while Como are trying to stay inside the Champions League places and avoid giving up the ground they have spent the spring fighting to win.
