Jiří Procházka is treating Saturday’s light heavyweight title fight against Carlos Ulberg at UFC 327 as the only thing that exists. The former champion said looking past this week is a fool’s game, brushing aside talk of who might be next at 205 pounds and insisting the moment is now.
“Just Saturday night,” Procházka said. “After that fight, we can speak about the next options. But right now, the title fight is here.”
That urgency matters because Procházka, who once overlapped with alex pereira in the UFC light heavyweight scene, is fighting at a weight class where the picture can change fast. Pereira could also re-enter that conversation if he moves back down to 205 pounds after a heavyweight foray, adding another layer to a division already crowded with possibility. “All what I’ve worked on is right now, right here,” he said. “This is the week. There is no other things. No other opponents. F*** the others.”
