Jiří Procházka is treating Saturday’s light heavyweight title fight against at 327 as the only thing that exists. The former champion said looking past this week is a fool’s game, brushing aside talk of who might be next at 205 pounds and insisting the moment is now.

“Just Saturday night,” Procházka said. “After that fight, we can speak about the next options. But right now, the title fight is here.”

That urgency matters because Procházka, who once overlapped with in the UFC light heavyweight scene, is fighting at a weight class where the picture can change fast. Pereira could also re-enter that conversation if he moves back down to 205 pounds after a heavyweight foray, adding another layer to a division already crowded with possibility. For now, though, Procházka is refusing to look beyond Ulberg and the belt in front of him.

“All what I’ve worked on is right now, right here,” he said. “This is the week. There is no other things. No other opponents. F*** the others.”

Procházka has long cast himself as a modern-day samurai, a self-image that fits the way he has approached the week of the fight. He wore the chonmage, the samurai man bun, and even rolled up to ’s live stream with a lengthy katana, leaning into a warrior style that dates back to the 1600s and the era of .

That backdrop gives Saturday’s bout a sharper edge than a simple title defense. Procházka is not just fighting for a belt; he is trying to prove that his style, his discipline and his stubborn focus can still carry him to the top of a division that may soon shift again if Pereira returns to 205 pounds. For one night, though, he says there is only one place to be: inside the cage, with his art and the title on the line.
