Becky Lynch says retirement is not on her mind. The former Women's Intercontinental Champion and former WWE Women's World Champion said on the Cheap Heat podcast that she expects to stay involved in wrestling in some capacity even after her in-ring days are done.

“No. You know, because I think I'll always be involved in some capacity, you know, in some way. And so, yeah, I don't, I don't think I need to be worrying about the retirement world,” Lynch said. The comment came during a broader conversation about where she fits in a business that has already defined much of her career.

Lynch also used the appearance to point to a larger shift inside WWE, saying many of the biggest stars from her generation are getting closer to the later stages of their careers. “But I will say there's going to be, you know, this has been, this generation has been around for a while now,” she said. “And so I think a lot of us are going to be hitting that same kind of timeline.”

Her remarks land at a moment when WWE is continuing to build new stars while veteran performers from the previous era remain active. That makes Lynch's comments less about stepping away and more about what comes next for a roster that is already in transition.

For Lynch, the answer was direct: she does not see retirement as something to fret over, because wrestling is likely to remain part of her life in one form or another.
