Miles Bridges keeps producing, but the fouls keep piling up for Hornets star

But the forward also picked up another technical foul in the final two minutes of a 113-102 loss to the Celtics, a reminder that the shot-making has come alongside a long trail of frustration and penalties. Bridges now has 22 technical fouls in his Hornets career and has been ejected twice, numbers that sit uneasily beside the offensive production.

The latest whistle came after a February brawl with the , when Bridges was one of four players ejected and later served a four-game suspension. That incident followed a far more notorious moment in the 2022 Play-In Tournament, when he was tossed after a second technical for arguing with officials, then threw his mouthpiece into the stands and hit an innocent bystander. The league fined him after that episode.

That history is what makes April harder to separate from the rest of Bridges’ season. He played some of his best basketball of the month, but the same competitive edge that helps fuel him has repeatedly spilled over into technicals, ejections and league discipline. For Charlotte, the question is no longer whether he can score. It is whether he can stay on the floor long enough for those points to matter.
