Viktor Hovland shared a kiss with Tuva Dahl Jensen after the Par-3 Contest on Wednesday, a brief moment that drew fresh attention to the usually private Norwegian golfer at The Masters in Augusta.
Dahl Jensen is 27 and works as a school teacher in Norway, at the Children’s International School near Oslo. Dagbladet reported that she teaches in Moss. She is the daughter of Atle Jensen, a revue performer in Norway, and Jeanett Dahl Jensen, and she comes from Fredrikstad in southeastern Norway, a fortified city on the Glomma River that is just over an hour from Oslo.
The family background helps explain why her name has surfaced alongside Hovland’s. Her twin brother, Ola Dahl Jensen, is a musician and singer who performs with Atle Jensen, and the pair reportedly took part in the 2022 Wright Invitational golf tournament. Hovland has also competed in the Wright Invitational in recent years, adding another link between his private life and the golf circle around him.
Dahl Jensen also has a strong academic record. She earned a master’s degree in Primary School Teacher Education for grades 5-10 from Østfold University College, completing her thesis in 2023. The college says it has around 7,000 students and offers more than 60 fields of study, placing her training inside one of Norway’s broader teacher-education pathways.
For Hovland, the kiss is notable precisely because he is rarely public about his personal life. At Augusta, where attention naturally follows every move, the moment was enough to push the relationship into view. What happens next is simple: the tournament goes on, but the private line Hovland usually keeps has already been crossed in full public sight.
