The Orioles unveiled their new City Connect uniforms on Thursday, a Camden Yards-inspired look that will debut Friday against the San Francisco Giants and then return for every Friday night home game this season. The design shifts to a white base with green and orange accents, green sleeves that match the ballpark seats, a sleeve patch shaped like the Eutaw Street home run markers and a clock near the hip.

The jersey says BMORE across the chest, while the helmet and cap carry a historic B logo that traces back to the 1890s Baltimore Baseball Club. The Orioles said the uniforms and related apparel go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, with the Camden Yards team store open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and three additional retail locations set to open Friday through Sunday.

The release marks the club’s second City Connect design, following the black uniform it introduced in 2023 with a colorful inside and sleeve cuff meant to represent Baltimore neighborhoods. The City Connect program itself began in 2021 through a partnership between and , and the Orioles’ latest entry leans far more directly on the ballpark that has defined the team’s modern identity.

That point came through in comments from , who said it is hard to meet someone who does not love or respect Camden Yards for what it is. She said the early response has already been positive because the inspiration is easy to see and the city is visible behind the art concept. put the matter more simply: This is a Camden Yards product.

The ballpark references are not subtle. Along with the seats, the Eutaw Street markers, the clock and the brick imagery, the uniforms were designed to feel a little grittier and more modern, creating contrast with a classic base while still respecting tradition. Ozarowski said the result gives the team a bit of edge without losing that connection to the park and the city around it.

The Orioles’ first City Connect design drew mixed reception in 2023, and this version appears built to avoid that split by anchoring itself in a place fans already know well. The project went through a wide range of ideas before the team settled on the Camden Yards theme, with the Orioles’ community team, communications and marketing departments involved and some players giving approval along the way.

, featured in the photo shoot with , , Pete Alonso, Gunnar Henderson, Samuel Basallo and Trevor Rogers, said he would have liked a little more flair and had hoped for an all-orange look similar to the 1970s Baltimore uniforms. But he added that if that is what the designers or approvers wanted, he would go with it. For the Orioles, the bigger point is that the new look ties the team’s brand even more tightly to the place that helped define it.
