América and Rayadas will meet in the Clausura 2026 Liga MX Femenil final after winning two very different semifinals that ended with the first and second place teams in the competition. Liga MX Femenil said it will announce the official dates and times in the coming days.
América advanced past Toluca with a second-leg finish that turned a comfortable series edge into a final berth. Gabriela García opened the scoring for América, but Faustine Valerie answered with two goals and later finished her hat-trick against América. Irene Guerrero converted a penalty in the second half, Aylin Aviléz equalized, and Alexa Soto struck in stoppage time to seal the win. América reached its seventh final in the era of Ángel Villacampa.
Rayadas earned the other place in the final after a comeback against Pachuca that began with pressure from the opening minutes. Natalia Mauleón scored for Pachuca at minute 2, and Osinachi Ohale’s own goal at minute 37 deepened the hole. Rayadas kept coming, with Valerie Vargas scoring in the second half and Christina Burkenroad leveling the global score. Lucía García then scored at minute 62 to complete the 4-3 global comeback and send Rayadas back to a final after two years.
The series matched the two strongest teams from the regular season, and both semifinals reflected that. América managed its second leg with squad rotation after building a wide advantage in the first leg, while Rayadas had to dig out of an early deficit on the road and still finish the job. Burkenroad’s goal also gave her nine for the tournament and 117 with Monterrey. The final now brings together the teams that set the pace all season, with the last detail still waiting on the league schedule.
