went 1-for-2 with a run scored Saturday, and rode that contribution to a 7-2 win over the Dodgers. White also logged his first steal of the season, a small but notable step for a player whose speed has been part of his value before.

White notched 10 steals on 11 attempts over 105 games in the 2025 regular season, and Saturday's swipe hinted at that same edge on the bases. He continues to be Atlanta's fourth outfielder and most often draws into the lineup as a platoon partner for in right field, giving the club another movable piece when it wants a different look.

The numbers this season have been modest, but they still show why Atlanta keeps turning to him. White is batting.232 with a.647 OPS, two home runs, nine RBI and eight runs scored across 61 plate appearances in 2026, production that fits a role player asked to do damage in brief chances. The bigger question now is whether Saturday opens the door to more of the same, because a bench player who can provide speed and an occasional run has a way of forcing his way into the conversation.
