The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating a Perinton family after deputies said three relatives were allegedly abducted Saturday afternoon near Crossover Road in Perinton. Investigators said 54-year-old Mouna Omar Saleh Ali, her 7-year-old daughter Julie Abdulla Qasim Saleh and her 9-year-old son Hafiz Mouna Ali Ali were taken in an incident they believe was carried out by the mother’s son.
Deputies identified the suspect as 26-year-old Amar Abdullah Qasim Saleh and said the children are in imminent danger of serious harm or death. The sheriff’s office said there is no threat to the public.
The family is from Perinton in Monroe County, making the case a local one with a narrow and urgent focus: finding the three people quickly and safely.
