That edge is not a small one. Municipal was the most regular team of the season in the accumulated table with 86 points, which means it can move on with a draw or even a loss by one or two goals. Mixco, by contrast, enters Saturday needing a heavy result simply to keep its semifinal alive.
The winner will advance to the Clausura 2026 final and face the survivor of Xelajú MC and Comunicaciones, who meet on Sunday at Mario Camposeco. For Municipal, the task is to protect what it already built in the first leg.
