Playstation Store Deals tab disappears, returns with Next Level Savings date

The ’s Deals tab vanished on May 7, 2026, then reappeared roughly 12 hours later. For a stretch on Thursday, users across multiple regions — including Japanese PSN accounts — found the Deals section missing from the browser, the mobile app and the console itself.

The tab now shows the next promotion, , due to begin on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, covering both PS5 and PS4 games. The previous sale ended at midnight, and even during the gap some wishlist notifications still fired, including one report from a commenter who said emailed them that Zombie Army VR was discounted to $24 from $30, only for the game to show at full price when clicked through.

The brief disappearance was unusual because the Playstation Store has spent years running back-to-back promotional sales, with the pattern stretching back to roughly the PS4 generation. The timing also comes as the store’s broader PS5 interface overhaul sits in beta, and as the annual sale approaches later this month, usually running from late May into June.

What made the episode stand out is that the store appeared to hide the Deals tab only when there was nothing active to show, a behavior that seems new for the storefront. That leaves the May 13 promotion as the next marker for shoppers, but the false pings in the gap suggest the old sale cycle was still echoing after the tab itself had gone dark.
