Guardiola also framed the race in blunt terms, saying there had been “a long time since the Arsenal game” and that City would try to apply pressure by winning their matches. “Not easy to replace Thomas Frank so an incredible season. It is clear what they do and it is difficult to challenge them but at the same time, three games left and we go for it,” he said. For City, the message is simple: keep Doku flying, keep collecting points, and hope the pressure shifts back toward the top of the table.
