Jalen Green left the Phoenix Suns’ game against the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night with a leg injury and went to the locker room after being replaced by Collin Gillespie with 8:10 left in the first quarter.
Green was limping a little bit before heading back, and there was no immediate word on the exact nature of the injury or when it happened. Before exiting, he had one rebound in four minutes of action.
Stan Son said, “Will have update ASAP,” as the latest injury status update on the Suns guard came on April 8, 2026, during live coverage of the game in Dallas.

The timing matters because Green has been a high-usage piece for Phoenix this season, carrying a 32.1% usage rate through April 8. With Green, Grayson Allen and Dillon Brooks off the court, Gillespie had the biggest usage-rate increase at 6.95%, while Devin Booker led the group at 34.69%.
The Suns now wait for a clearer diagnosis, and the next update on Green’s leg will shape both the rest of the night and any read on how Phoenix has to adjust if he cannot return.
