A 3-year-old California boy barely made it to the batter’s box after started playing at his Little League debut. shared the video of her son on March 12, and the clip has since drawn more than 3.5 million views.

In the TikTok, Vince swayed to “tv off” as he walked up for the plate, then appeared to drift past it and nearly forget he was supposed to bat. Roque told News that Vince plays for in San Bernardino, California, and said he “is always known for being such a character.”

Roque said the moment captured exactly who her son is, especially because it was his first game. “This clip was his very first game so his walk up song completely distracted him from the game as he is a fan of Kendrick Lamar music!” she said.
