Univision held its place as the number one network for Hispanics in the United States in April 2026, drawing 33.7 million total day viewers and posting its strongest month since July 2024 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
The network said its total viewers were up 19% from a year earlier in April, while audience growth reached 14% among Adults 18-49 and 31% among Adults 18-34. Univision also averaged 297 minutes of viewing across the full day, ahead of the 250 minutes posted by ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, underscoring how deeply its audience stayed with the network throughout the day.
That strength extended into direct competition with Telemundo. Univision held a 15% advantage in prime time total viewers and a 14% edge in total day, while also leading by 12% among Adults 18-49 in total day. Among younger viewers in prime time, TelevisaUnivision's channels captured 61% of Adults 18-49 and 64% of Adults 18-34 during April, a sign that the company’s schedule continued to dominate Hispanic viewing in the parts of the audience most prized by advertisers.
Programming across news, daytime and prime time helped drive the gains. N+ Univision reached 17.2 million total viewers in April, and Noticiero N+ Univision was positioned as the number one news program across all television in total day among Hispanics in the United States. In prime time, Mi Verdad Oculta was the highest-rated drama of the month, while Mi Rival made Univision the top network in its time slot among U.S. Hispanics and beat Telemundo by 27% among Adults 18-34.
The competition was just as sharp later in the evening. Hermanas: Un Amor Compartido beat Telemundo by 47% among Adults 18-34 in the 10 p.m. hour, and Siéntese Quien Pueda outperformed En Casa con Telemundo across all key demographics in daytime. Desiguales beat La Mesa Caliente by 39% among Adults 18-34, while El Gordo y La Flaca remained ahead of Al Rojo Vivo among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
Sunday nights also delivered a clear result. The third season of Juego de Voces pushed Univision to first place across all television among U.S. Hispanics from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., and the show beat Telemundo's La Casa de los Famosos by 9% in total viewers and 6% among Adults 18-34. The picture from April is straightforward: Univision did not just keep its lead, it widened it where the market matters most.
