Ariana Grande Tour update: singer revives 'Dangerous Woman' in rehearsals

In an Instagram post, Grande said it was their first time running the song since SWT and added that there was one month to go before the tour and that Petal was available for preorder.

The rehearsal came as the Tour moved into its final month before opening in Oakland, Calif., on June 6. Grande's first trek since 2019 will travel through North American cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Chicago, Montreal and New York before ending with 10 shows at London's O2 Arena in September.

Dangerous Woman was released on May 20, 2016, and debuted at No. 2 on the 200 with 175,000 total album units. Its title track reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later picked up a nomination for best pop solo performance at the 2017 .

The return to the song matters because it folds Grande's past into the launch of a tour built around her newest era. Eternal Sunshine, released in 2024, topped the Billboard 200 and produced her eighth and ninth Hot 100 No. 1 hits with “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).”

For now, the rehearsal answer is plain: Grande is not just remembering Dangerous Woman. She is threading it into a set list that is about to carry her back on the road, with Petal due July 31 and the Eternal Sunshine Tour set to begin a month earlier.
