By Megan Foster May 4, 2026

is leaving Hulu's , announcing the departure during her final performance in Chicago on Sunday. Her representative later confirmed the move to Deadline.

Leavitt has appeared in every episode of the reality series since it debuted in September 2024, but it is not yet clear whether she will show up in the forthcoming, partially filmed Season 5 as a guest star or as a full cast member. Disney's streamer has said it will resume filming on the new season.

The departure comes as Leavitt has been building a second stage career. She made her Broadway debut as Roxie Hart in the revival of Chicago, which began its run on Feb. 2, while , her Season 34 partner, joined the show for a limited engagement running through all of April and ending May 3.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows a group of Mormon mom-influencers caught in a sex scandal that reverberates through their faith, friendships and reputations. Production paused after fellow main cast member was allegedly involved in a domestic violence incident, and charges against her were later dropped after she was seen on video throwing a metal stool at ex-boyfriend .

Leavitt's exit leaves one big question for Hulu's reality series: whether one of its most visible cast members is truly done with the show or simply stepping away for the stage while Season 5 takes shape.
