Alix Earle and Braxton Berrios ran into each other at a Sports Illustrated F1 Miami event on April 30, five months after the pair ended their two-year relationship. A video captured by Daily Mail and shared to social media showed the two chatting casually in the middle of the party crowd.
Earle arrived in a strapless red mini dress tied around her arm, while Berrios wore a white top. The sighting landed a day after Earle told followers on TikTok, “You know when you’re nervous before going out because you’re so excited and you just want to get there? I’m also going alone so, hopefully people wanna talk to me.” On May 1, she wrote, “I cannot believe that's out in the world.”
The encounter mattered because the breakup has stayed visible to fans ever since the split. Earle and Berrios had spent much of 2023 appearing together in public, including the 2023 ESPYS in July, a late-September sidelines photo he shared, an October Instagram post in which she wrote “hbd nfl man,” and a November trip to the Bahamas during the Miami Dolphins’ bye week. After the breakup, Earle first saw him again in February at Aspen’s Palm Tree Festival, a meeting she later described as “really hard” and “weird.”
That history is why the F1 reunion drew so much attention, even if the exchange itself looked ordinary. Earle had already been signaling she was ready to move on, saying in an April 16 recap that there would be “no more football players” and adding, “I wanna date a rock star so bad. It’s my dream. That’s literally my dream.” The new footage suggests there is no obvious feud, but it does show how quickly a public breakup can turn a simple party encounter into a moment fans dissect for clues.
The larger question now is not whether they can be in the same room; they already answered that in Miami. It is whether Earle’s repeated insistence on moving past football players finally means the chapter with Berrios is closed for good.
