Cam Rowston returns to RAC Arena on Saturday with another chance to push his name higher in the UFC middleweight division, and Robert Bryczek is the man across from him. Rowston, who has won his first two UFC fights by first-round TKO, said he expects the Polish knockout artist to bring the kind of power that can change a fight fast.
Rowston earned his contract with a first-round TKO of Brandon Holmes on Dana White’s Contender Series in August 2025, then made his UFC debut against Andre Petroski in Perth the following month and stopped him in the first round. He followed that with a second-round stoppage of Cody Brundage at UFC 325 in Sydney in January, and now he is set to return to the same venue where he made his Octagon debut for the second time in the space of eight months.
The matchup has been framed as a meeting of two finishers with ambition in the 185-pound class, and Bryczek brings a short but dangerous UFC record into it. He has had two fights in the promotion and is coming off a win against Brad Tavares, giving Rowston a live opponent rather than a stepping stone as he tries to keep his momentum intact in front of 15,000 people.
Rowston said he feels he is showing what he can do and doing everything right, but he also knows the test will get harder if Bryczek’s power lands clean. He described the Polish fighter as big and tough, said Polish power is real, and added that he will need to be perfect for all 15 minutes inside the Octagon.
That demand has pushed Rowston toward a more layered approach. He said he has multiple game plans for the fight and wants to show composure and a well-thought-out strategy, leaning on the experience he says he has built through 14-3 as a pro, more than 30 kickboxing fights and a collection of amateur MMA bouts. He also said the atmosphere should not shake him, because he can still hear his corner in a stadium of 15,000 people and trust what they tell him.
For Rowston, the next step is clear: beat Bryczek convincingly and keep moving up the ladder. If he does, the unbeaten UFC start that began with two quick finishes will have carried him from contract winner to a fighter the 185-pound division has to keep watching.
