By Michael Bennett May 2, 2026

A Duncanville High School teacher was arrested Friday morning and charged with felony voyeurism after investigators looked into allegations of an improper relationship between an educator and a student. was also placed on administrative leave.

said the case began after reports were made to school administrators, who asked for the department’s help. said the allegations came to light on April 13, when a person came forward about Davis and an improper relationship with a student, and that the district moved immediately to cut off his access to students and make the required reports under district policy and state law.

The district and police both said they believe there may be more victims, and they are asking anyone with information to come forward. People with additional information about Davis can call 972-780-5037 or contact the lead detective at 972-707-3842.

Texas law defines voyeurism as observing another person, including remotely through electronic means, without consent while that person is in a dwelling or structure where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy. The charge becomes a felony when the victim is under the age of 14, a threshold that gives this case its legal weight.

For Duncanville schools, the immediate question now is how far the investigation reaches beyond the first report. Police and district officials are signaling that this may not be an isolated complaint, and the appeal for more victims to step forward suggests the case is still expanding.
