Kris Jenner said the longtime rumor that Khloé Kardashian’s father is not Robert Kardashian still bothers her, revisiting one of the most persistent pieces of gossip to follow the family for years. Jenner made the comments Wednesday, April 29, on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonder Land.
Jenner said the speculation has never stopped surfacing online and pushed back again on the claim that O.J. Simpson could be Khloé’s father. She and Simpson both denied the rumor publicly years ago, but it has continued to circulate despite repeated denials from both sides.
The conversation landed with extra weight because Khloé has recently been willing to joke about the speculation herself. On a recent season of The Kardashians, she and Kim Kardashian laughed about it after Kim gave Khloé their father’s bible, with Kim quipping that it was questionable between Robert Kardashian and Simpson as to who Khloé’s father was.
Jenner’s frustration is rooted in a family history that has been public for decades. She shared Khloé, Kim, Kourtney Kardashian and Rob Kardashian with Robert Kardashian, who died in 2003. Simpson, now 76, was close to the family in the years before that, and Robert Kardashian gave him his bible in 1994 after Simpson was charged with the murders of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman.
That history is part of why the rumor has survived online for so long. Jenner addressed cheating allegations involving her and Simpson on a 2019 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, and Simpson posted a video on Twitter that same year saying Khloé was not his daughter. In that video, he also said he never had any romantic or sexual interest in Jenner and described her as “like a brother to me,” while calling the stories “bogus” and “bad, tasteless.”
Jenner was equally blunt about the old allegations, saying on the 2019 episode, “They printed a story that I was sleeping with O.J.” On the podcast, she again rejected the idea, calling it “so ridiculous” and referring angrily to the people behind the claim as “That f---ing piece of s---. It’s really kind of pathetic.”
For Jenner, the issue is not just a tabloid relic. It is a rumor that has shadowed Khloé for years, resurfacing whenever the family talks about their father or revisits old photos and keepsakes. Even as the Kardashians laugh at it on television, Jenner’s latest comments show that the story remains personal — and unresolved in the public imagination, even after both people at the center of it have denied it.
