Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heather Milligan stepped out for a rare date night in April 2025, dining at Nobu Malibu in photos published Wednesday, April 29. Schwarzenegger, 78, and Milligan, 51, were seen arriving together for the low-key dinner outing in Los Angeles.
The former California governor wore a black blazer over a matching top with dark blue denim jeans, while Milligan wore a white blazer with gold buttons, a white top and white pants. She styled her long blonde hair in loose curls with a center part and wore sunglasses.
The sighting stood out because the couple has kept a relatively low public profile. Their last public appearance was in September 2025, when they attended the Raising Hope for Climate Justice press conference in Vatican City. Before that, their relationship had mostly unfolded out of view, even as Schwarzenegger remained a familiar public figure.
Milligan is a physical therapist, and the relationship began after Schwarzenegger sought treatment following shoulder surgery. He has said he called her and took her out to lunch to say thank you, and that one thing led to the next. He has also said they have so many things in common, that he thinks the world of her, and that he loves how she is into working, clearly independent, and driven as hell.
Schwarzenegger was previously married to Maria Shriver. They wed in 1986, share four children — Patrick, Katherine, Christopher and Christina Schwarzenegger — and split after Shriver filed for divorce in 2011. Their divorce was finalized in 2021. The Malibu dinner offered a simple public snapshot of a relationship that has lasted years and remained largely private: after more than a decade together, Schwarzenegger and Milligan were still making time for a quiet night out.
