P.F. Chang’s will mark the grand opening of its newest Norman location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 27, opening the doors to the public the same day at 1825 24th Ave. NW. The celebration is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. and will bring a new dining option to the Norman area.
Representatives from the Norman Chamber of Commerce and local elected officials are expected to attend, along with Boomer from the University of Oklahoma, who will appear as a special guest. Chris Arnold will serve as emcee.
Guests at the opening will be able to tour the new restaurant and sample signature menu items, including Chang’s Spicy Chicken and the chain’s lettuce wraps. The first 20,000 visitors will also receive a complimentary surprise on arrival, a promotion designed to draw an early crowd as the brand adds another location in its latest expansion.
The Norman debut follows the company’s ongoing growth and gives local diners a new option in a part of the city that has been waiting for another sit-down restaurant with a familiar menu. For P.F. Chang’s, the opening is less a soft introduction than a public statement that its expansion is still moving.
