Andrew Dellefave III has claimed a $1 million top prize from the Bonus 20X scratch-off game after buying the winning ticket at Corner Market in Seneca Falls, lottery officials said.
Dellefave chose a one-time lump sum payment totaling $436,171 after required withholdings. With his claim filed, all top prizes for Bonus 20X have now been claimed, though lower-tier prizes remain available and can be redeemed through February 4, 2027.
The prize comes as scratch-off games continue to be a major engine for the New York Lottery, generating more than $4.3 billion in statewide sales during the 2024–2025 fiscal year. In Seneca County, school districts received more than $7.1 million in Lottery Aid to Education funding during that same fiscal year.
The claim closes the book on the game’s top end, but it does not end the run of Bonus 20X altogether. Players can still redeem lower-tier prizes for more than a year, while the new question is how quickly the remaining tickets will disappear now that the $1 million awards are gone.
