Minnesota United FC will host LAFC on April 25, 2026, at Allianz Field, with kickoff set for 3:45 p.m. and a full day of pregame events starting well before the first whistle. The Loons enter the match with five straight wins across all competitions, 17 points through nine games and a fourth-place spot in the Western Conference.
The home crowd will have plenty to do before kickoff. The Sun Country Pre-Party begins at 1:30 p.m. on the Great Lawn, gates open at 2:00 p.m. and the first 5,000 fans through the gate will receive an exclusive commemorative flag featuring the club's Year 10 logo, courtesy of Hyundai.
At 2:10 p.m., Kids March to the Match starts at PK's Place on the east side of Allianz Field, while Wonderwall March to the Match begins an hour before kickoff at The Calling loon sculpture. Sections 21-23 in the Supporters Section will be reserved for Wonderwall participants. Kids can also stop at the MNUFC tent on the Great Lawn, where the first 250 children may register for a postgame penalty shot on the pitch and Kids Clubbers can get a Kids Club Tattoo at the MNUFC booth.
The match carries added weight because Minnesota is trying to extend a six-game unbeaten streak at Allianz Field against an LAFC side that has not won in its last three league matches. The contrast sets up a test between one team finding rhythm at home and another searching for a response on the road.
Saturday's game will also bring a slate of club programming. Field Club ticketholders are invited to a pregame Chalk Talk at 2:30 p.m. with Khaled El-Ahmad and Fanendo Adi, moderated by Dan Terhaar. The brand-new Target mural on the north side of Allianz Field, designed by Target Sr. Graphic Designer Kelvin Lee, will also be unveiled during the game.
Food options are part of the draw as well. The Allianz Field Kids' Meal, priced at $11.99, will be available at the Hungry Loon in Sections 10, 13, 22 and 34, and a new value menu with hot dogs, nachos, popcorn, water and soda, all under $5, will be sold at the Hungry Loon in Sections 10 and 22. Peter Bian from Saturday Dumpling Co. will be at Allianz Field once again, adding another name to a packed matchday lineup that turns a league fixture into a full stadium event.
