Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer Relationship Still Cold After Documentary

By Tyler Brooks Apr 24, 2026

says he still has not been able to connect with after the release of aka Charlie Sheen, even as he says he thinks his former co-star would be open to hearing from him.

In an interview published April 24, Sheen said he does not like to bother , but added that Cryer is a lovely man and a very talented guy. He also said he is grateful that Cryer took part in the documentary.

Sheen, 60, made the comments after saying at a recent panel discussion that everybody showed up for the project and could have simply refused to talk about it again. He described Cryer's view of their history as “a little grudgy” and recalled telling him, “Dude, what the f--k? I got over it. What are we doing, Jon?”

The fractured relationship goes back to 2011, when Sheen was fired from Two and a Half Men after eight seasons amid a public breakdown and battle with addiction. Cryer severed ties at the time. Sheen had accused him of being a turncoat, a traitor and a troll for not reaching out during that period, while the show continued for three more seasons with still on the cast and joining after Sheen's exit.

Cryer later said in 2015 that he had planned a public statement of support before Sheen called him a traitor, a turncoat and a troll. In 2025, he said they do not have a relationship anymore, though he wished Sheen the best and said he had heard Sheen had been sober for a while.

Sheen's latest remarks suggest the door is not shut, but it is not open yet. He says Cryer may be willing to talk. What remains unanswered is whether the two men who spent eight seasons on the same set will finally speak again after years of silence.
