Pokémon Pokopia moved to version 1.0.4, and the patch is focused on repairs rather than new content. The update lets players relocate Pokémon Centers while in-game events are underway and fixes five problems that had been slowing progress for some players.
Among the changes, a bug that stopped Tinkmaster from following the player during the “Pokémon Center tour guide!” request in Sparkling Skylands has been resolved. The update also fixes a problem that could keep Peakychu, Chef Dente and Tinkmaster from leaving town after certain actions, and it removes the indestructible platforms that could be left behind when a Relocation Kit was picked up.
Professor Tangrowth is also back on track. Before version 1.0.4, some actions could stop the character from appearing at all, but that should no longer happen. In Bleak Beach, the patch clears up two more blockers: certain actions could prevent the “Pool Repair Needed!” request from appearing, and the “Wanted: Food!” request could sometimes stall before it was finished.
The fix list matters because these were not just cosmetic bugs. Several of them could block requests, characters or area progress, which meant players could get stuck even while continuing to play. The patch notes are laid out in an official Nintendo Pokopia post that contains the full details.
For players running into trouble in Sparkling Skylands or Bleak Beach, version 1.0.4 turns a set of frustrating dead ends into issues that are now a thing of the past.
