Nhl Scores: McDavid, MacKinnon and Avalanche Goalies Take Top NHL Honors

won the Art Ross Trophy, took the and and earned the William M. Jennings Trophy when the regular season ended and locked in the league’s top individual honors.

McDavid finished with 138 points in 82 games, including 48 goals and a league-leading 90 assists, to claim his sixth career Art Ross Trophy. He last won it in 2022-23 with 153 points and now is tied with Mario Lemieux for the second-most Art Ross wins in NHL history, behind Wayne Gretzky’s 10.

, who led the league in points the previous two seasons with 121 and 130, finished second again with 130 points. MacKinnon was third with 127 points, while Macklin Celebrini set a franchise record with 115 points to finish fourth and Mark Scheifele was fifth with 103.

MacKinnon won the Rocket Richard Trophy for the first time with 53 goals, finishing two ahead of Cole Caufield and three ahead of McDavid. He added 74 assists and 127 points in 80 games. Wyatt Johnston and Kirill Kaprizov each scored 45 goals to round out the top five. Milan Hejduk had been the first player to win the award in 2002-03.

The Jennings Trophy went to Wedgewood and Blackwood after Colorado finished with the fewest goals against in the NHL, allowing 203 including shootout-deciders. Wedgewood played 45 games and posted a 2.02 goals-against average with a.921 save percentage, while Blackwood appeared in 39 games with a 2.51 goals-against average and a.904 save percentage. That team defense helped both goalies qualify by meeting the 25-game requirement. Leon Draisaitl had won the Rocket Richard Trophy last season with 52 goals in 71 games.
