Maryse had returned to WWE to renew her wedding vows with The Miz, only for Danhausen to burst in and say he was joining the family and moving into their mansion. He tried to take on every role at once — ring boy, best man and maid of honor — before Kit Wilson, serving as the officiant, slipped up and said, “You may now curse the bride!”
The moment landed because WWE has done this dance before. In 2021, The Miz and Maryse tried to renew their vows on Raw, and Edge ruined it by dumping goop on them.
