The agreement keeps the league's first four-time MVP in Las Vegas after she told reporters Friday at national team training camp, “I love Vegas. I'm not leaving Vegas.” Wilson added that she is “looking to win another one,” “looking to defend a championship that we have in Las Vegas” and “looking to get better as a leader, as a player.”

The size of the deal also reflects how far Wilson has carried the franchise. Since the Aces drafted her first overall in 2018, she has helped lead them to their first title in 2022 and a repeat championship in 2023, when she earned Finals MVP honors. Wilson became the first WNBA or NBA player to win the scoring title, MVP, Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP in the same season in 2025.

The contract was negotiated by agent of , and Wilson will earn $1.4 million for the upcoming season under the next WNBA collective bargaining agreement.
