Mcdonald's HUNTRIX Meal brings KPop Demon Hunters to menus in 2026

rolled out the Meal in 2026, putting a animated hit onto its menu with a box built around 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, Ramyeon McShaker Fries and a drink. The promotion ties into , the film centered on two fictional K-pop groups, and comes with a trading card pack for each meal.

The fries are the part most likely to decide whether the meal lands as a novelty or a repeat order. Ramyeon McShaker Fries come with a seasoning packet blending soy, garlic, sesame and spice, while the meal also includes Hunter Sauce, a chili, garlic and pepper blend, and Demon Sauce, a purple hot mustard sauce with hints of bold heat and tang. One user called the meal overall super satisfying and filling, and another wrote, “The fries were the best part, delicious. Tested like chicken ramen seasoning. The sauces were both pretty good too.”

The themed drop is part of a broader menu tied to Netflix’s animated KPop Demon Hunters, with a rival meal also on offer and trading card collectibles folded into both sides of the promotion. That gives McDonald’s something closer to a branded mini-event than one of its usual time-limited crossover meals, the kind of release that can turn a quick lunch into a collector chase.

But the same seasoning mix that gives the fries their punch may also be the thing that limits the meal’s reach. One user warned that the flavoring packet could overwhelm some people because of its strong taste, and another suggested using half the pack instead of the whole thing. For McDonald’s, the gamble is familiar: lean hard into the gimmick and hope the audience wants the full hit.

That is what makes the HUNTRIX Meal matter now. It is not just another celebrity-style tie-in, but a sign that McDonald’s is willing to push a film promotion into a more elaborate, merchandise-heavy format, with the food, the packaging and the collectibles all doing part of the work.
