The Roku Channel added six new dedicated channels on Tuesday, giving Roku TV and streaming-player users immediate access to a broader lineup that now includes Rawhide, The Beverly Hillbillies, Ink Master, Toso.o and MTV en Español.
The new channels are available right away on all Roku TVs and Roku streaming players, with channel numbers that make the lineup easy to find: channel 313 carries Rawhide, channel 314 offers The Beverly Hillbillies, channel 624 features Ink Master, channel 815 introduces Toso.o and channel 978 carries MTV en Español. One additional new channel was also added as part of the expansion.
For Roku, the move deepens an ad-supported service that has become one of the company’s main free streaming offerings. The additions stretch across genres, from classic television and reality competition to specialized entertainment and Spanish-language programming, giving the platform a little more range without asking viewers to leave the Roku environment.

The best-known of the new arrivals is Rawhide, which originally aired in the late 1950s and early 1960s and follows a team of drovers pushing massive cattle herds across the American frontier. Gil Favor serves as trail boss, with Clint Eastwood as Rowdy Yates. The Beverly Hillbillies tracks the Clampett family after they strike oil on their rural property, while Ink Master pits tattoo artists against one another in competitive challenges.
That mix matters because it shows how Roku is using The Roku Channel: not just as a place for a single kind of viewer, but as a free, ad-supported hub that can hold old network staples, competition fare and niche language programming side by side. The channels are live now, and the number grid on Roku devices turns what could have been a simple library update into something closer to a scheduled lineup.

The immediate question is not whether the channels exist — they do — but how much viewers will use them once they appear on the home screen. Roku has made the access effortless; the test now is whether the programming can keep people inside The Roku Channel instead of sending them elsewhere.
