Bryson Tiller gives Missouri a major frontcourt addition in 2026 offseason

By Kevin Mitchell Apr 16, 2026

Missouri landed its third commitment of the 2026 offseason in , the 6-foot-11, 240-pound forward who picked the Tigers over Michigan, Arizona and Miami. Tiller, a four-star transfer and the No. 7 power forward in the class per 247Sports, gives Missouri another frontcourt piece as it reshapes the roster for next season.

Tiller comes to Columbia after a redshirt freshman season at in which he averaged 7.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, one assist and 1.3 blocks per game while starting 31 of 35 games and logging 25.9 minutes per contest. He shot 44.9% from the field and 26.9% from 3-point range, production that made him one of the more sought-after names in the transfer portal.

The fit matters because Missouri is set to lose starting power forward and starting center after the 2025-26 season, leaving openings in the frontcourt. Tiller will compete with incoming freshman and returning 7-foot-5 center Trent Burns for a starting role, while also joining top-10 incoming freshman on a roster that is trying to build around size and skill.

Before his lone season at Kansas, Tiller was a four-star prospect in the 2025 class and played in , where his numbers kept climbing. He averaged 11.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game in 2022-23, then 12.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game in 2023-24. He also played last season alongside projected top-3 NBA Draft pick Darryn Peterson, a backdrop that should give Missouri a player used to high-level talent and high-pressure touches.

The connection to Missouri runs a little deeper than a recruiting win. Tim Fuller and Tiller crossed paths in Overtime Elite, where Fuller was vice president of recruiting and player personnel, and that familiarity likely helped the Tigers in a crowded chase for one of the top frontcourt players in the portal. Now Missouri has one more piece for a roster that will look very different by the time the next season starts.
