Stomp Shark Tank update: Stomp Athletics expands, cuts prices in sale

By Michael Bennett Apr 16, 2026

, the company behind traction mats and Shoe Armor for athletes, marked a busy stretch from a discount in late November 2025 to a new partnership with the in December. The company said it took 15% off all products during the sale, a push that came after its national rollout the year before.

The company’s core products are built for court sports: Shoe Armor is designed to wipe dirt and dust off shoes and help maintain traction during games, while its traction mats come in a Large Traction Mat priced at $99 and a Mini Traction Mat at $55. Stomp Athletics filed its first patent in 2018 for the first version of Shoe Armor, and in 2024 its Shoe Armor and Large Mat began distribution through and , expanding the brand nationwide.

That growth also showed up in June 2024, when Stomp Athletics attended the and began selling to several teams, colleges and high schools. For a small athletic equipment company, the move from patent filing to national distribution and then to pro and school customers is the clearest sign that the product has moved well beyond a startup pitch.

The harder question for any brand with that kind of reach is keeping momentum once the initial buzz fades. Stomp Athletics has tried to do that with price promotions and partnerships, but its longer-term test will be whether Shoe Armor and its mats keep winning regular use from teams that can choose almost anything else.

This update sits alongside other Shark Tank-related businesses including Crowned Skin, HiberTec Homes and PowerSoul Cafe, but Stomp Athletics stands out for one reason: its products are practical, visible and already in use. That is usually what turns a one-time appearance into a lasting business.
