Some thunderstorms are possible then, and the thunderstorm outlook is currently marginal. Temperatures will be much lower, with highs mostly in the 60s.
The bigger change comes after the front passes. Some regions may wake up Sunday morning to temperatures in the upper 30s and lower 40s, a sharp reminder that April can still turn quickly. The warm spell is giving way to a brief round of storms, followed by a much cooler start to the weekend’s end.
