The Green Bay Packers could be in the market for Marvin Harrison Jr. in the coming weeks after losing Romeo Doubs this offseason and reshaping their receiving room again. The possibility has surfaced as the Cardinals weigh whether to move a player who has not yet settled in as a long-term starter.
Harrison appeared in 12 games last season and finished with 41 catches for 608 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Ralph Vacchiano of FOX Sports said he could be a strong fit in Jordan Love's offense, noting that Green Bay has “good depth, decent players, but no apparent No. 1” at receiver and that the team let its best receiver, Doubs, leave while adding only Skyy Moore.
The Packers' offseason has made the debate harder to ignore. They let Doubs walk in free agency, traded Dontayvion Wicks to the Philadelphia Eagles, brought in Moore and then added Matthew Golden and Savion Williams, leaving a room with more names but still a search for a clear centerpiece. Jayden Reed and Christian Watson were described as the team's best receiving options for Love, but the lack of a proven top target is what keeps another move on the table.
That is where the Cardinals come in. Arizona would probably be open to trading Harrison if it received a decent return, according to the report, even though he has also been outplayed by Michael Wilson and has not established himself as a long-term starter in the offense. Vacchiano also floated the Baltimore Ravens, Los Angeles Chargers and Indianapolis Colts as other possible landing spots, a reminder that Green Bay would not be bidding against a single rival if the wideout market heats up.
For the Packers, the question is not whether Harrison has talent. It is whether they are willing to keep chasing a receiver upgrade after already spending pieces of the offseason trying to patch the position. If they do, the next few weeks could tell whether Green Bay is hunting for depth or for the one player who can change the conversation around Love's passing game.
